Objectives

The courses aims at realizing the following objectives :-

  • The Objective of the Programme shall be to provide sound academic base from which an advanced career in Commerce can be developed.
  • Conceptual grounding In computer usage as well as Ifs practical business application will be provided.
  • The Commerce education is dedicated to developing tomorrow's leaders, managers, and professionals.

Duration of the Programme

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)) is of a Three Year (Six semesters) Full Time Degree Programme. choice based credit system examination will be held at the end of the each semester.

The medium of instruction for B.Com. Degree course shall be either Marathi or English except languages. The Medium of instructions for Business Communication (S.Y.B.Com) shall be English only.

Eligibility:

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with English.
  2. Three Years Diploma Course after S.S.C. i.e. 10th standard, of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
  3. Two Years Diploma in Pharmacy after HSC, of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
  4. Intermediate Commerce/Arts examination from the Board of Secondary Education, M.P. Bhopal with 4 subjects including General English.
  5. H.S.C. Vocational

STANDARD OF PASSING.

A candidate is required to obtain 40% marks in Internal Assessment, Practical Examination and Semester End University Examination. It means that passing separately at internal assessment, practical examination and semester end university examination is compulsory. S.Y.B.Com. and T.Y.B.Com special subjects.

Special Courses

For course on Practical t work as per the regular practice there will be Written Report and viva presentation of 20 marks at SPPU level.

A Student must offer the same Special Subject at T.Y.B.Com. which he has offered at S.Y.B.Com.
